Important Notice for all Livestock Exhibitors:

PREMISES ID REQUIREMENT ADOPTED FOR ILLINOIS FAIRS. New rule applies to all livestock exhibitors and takes effect this year. If stabled in Illinois, REGISTER online at IDOA's website: www.agr.state.il.us/premiseid and receive premise I.D. number instantly.
 

HELLO TO OUR EXHIBITORS,

Welcome to our first 2-year Premium Book. This book will cover the 2008 & 2009 Sandwich Fair and offer you some advantages and some changes to your procedures when entering items for exhibition.

The first item you may notice is the lack of dates throughout the book. That is necessary due to the 2 year time-frame. Therefore we have listed most items as “January of the exhibit year” or “Wednesday of the Fair week” depending on the item. Those items that remain the same from year to year are worded this way to let you know that there are guidelines, and they will be the same in both of the Fair years. For this year, we put the Wednesday and Friday Grandstand shows in the book, but understand next year’s entertainers will be different, and available on-line for you to see next year.

Another advantage of this book is that all categories will remain the same for 2008 & 2009. If there are any changes due to reasons beyond our control, we will list those items on our website and have insert sheets here at the Fair office for your convenience. Our website will become more and more the basis for Fair information, so be sure to keep www.sandwichfair.com handy on your computer. Once the Premium Book is available on-line, you will have all that information available at your fingertips for the next two Sandwich Fairs!

Using the website is a good idea, because we will only do one mailing of the Premium Book this year. If you get a Premium Book this year, you will not be sent a new book in 2009. For those who get a book in 2008, you have the responsibility of keeping that book for 2009. Should you lose or ruin your book, you may request a new book, but the replacement cost will be $10.00, payable before the book is replaced.

Entry forms - There is one complete set of entry forms in the back. Please feel free to photocopy the forms if you need more, or wish to have them on-hand for 2009. We will have additional copies here in the Fair office and on-line for you to print out and use.
