The most traditional entertainment at the Sandwich Fair
We think you will enjoy the exciting harness racing. It is longest running and traditional entertainment at the Sandwich Fair. Almost every premium book from 1900 to 1948 had the schedule and prices for races on the front or back cover. The Division of County Fairs and Horse Racing oversees the state's horse racing programs, which provide monetary incentives to horse owners to encourage the breeding, racing and ownership of quality horses in Illinois. This non-ticketed event is a historic fair favorite.

Axes, modified racing chainsaws, water events, and cross cut saws are some of the 11 different competitive events performed by professional athletes. There's also audience participation and chainsaw carving giveaways. Autographs and souvenirs for the kids will be at the end of the show.
The NTPA sets the standard in the pulling industry for safety and competition rules. Respected by most domestic and foreign pulling associations, the NTPA Rulebook is followed across the world. There will be Pro Stock 4x4 Diesel Trucks, FWD Trucks, TWD Trucks and NTPA Super Semis. This will be an event you don’t want to miss.

End the Fair with a Bash and a Crash!
Excitement abounds at the demolition derbies as drivers deliberately ram their vehicles into one another. The last driver whose vehicle is operational is awarded the victory. Enjoy the thrills of watching these four classes: Mini Van, Compact, Wire and Fair. In the interest of safety, drivers and mechanics are subject to, and must obey, rules and regulations, which are set up by the Sandwich Fair Association track where this event is being held.
