The 125th committee along with the board of directors has planned something for every day of the 125th fair to help us remember the bygone days of the fair that we recall or have heard about for many years.

Stop by the Hospitality tent
Come join the fun and be sure and check in at the Hospitality tent for information, giveaways, and surprises every day, located across from the Round Office just west of the Home Arts building.
125th Parade and Opening Ceremony
On Wednesday, Sept. 5th, the 125th parade will feature the Sandwich High School Music Deptartment, along with military veterans, taking place at 9:30 a.m. coming through the Main Gate leading to the Round Office. The flag raising and the opening ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m.
Cake anyone?
Wednesday, After the parade and opening ceremony, cake will be served in the Hospitality tent at 10 a.m.
Ice Cream Social Day
Thursday, Sept. 6th in the hospitality tent, There will be an old fashioned ice cream social at 1:25 p.m.
Vintage Baseball
Friday, Sept. 7th at the harness track, join us for an evening of vintage baseball with Sandwich Millers vs. Somonauk Blue Stockings trying to settle a game that dates back to the late 1800s.
Hot Air Balloon Launch UPDATED DATE
Rescheduled to Sunday, Sept 9, a hot air balloon launch will take place on the infield inside the harness track at 5:30 p.m. Sponsored by Castle Bank, this beautiful balloon will peruse over the Sandwich Fairgrounds.
Preparaton and inflating the balloon will take about an hour. The flight will last approximately 30 minutes and the balloon will land just east of Sandwich.
Come early and watch the crew inflate the balloon. The area is accessible through the horseman's gate at the west end of the fairground, close to the Ag Land area. (see the Fairgrounds map) Don't forget your cameras!

Sandwich Fair Queens
Saturday, Sept. 8th at the hospitality tent, spend time visiting with former Sandwich Fair Queens starting at 1:00 p.m.
Discount Admission
Sunday, Sept. 9th, starting at 3:00 p.m. until closing, all Fair attendees will be admitted for only $5.00.
